🐾 Catchmemeow

About Catchmemeow

Catchmemeow began life as a homemade gift — a tiny seek-and-find game made for one family’s little ones to play together. It grew, hat by silly hat and world by world, into the cheerful game you see today.

Written & built by Craig — a dad who wanted a calm game his own family could play together, and who’d love it if the game nudged a few more shelter cats and dogs into loving homes. Last updated July 2026.

A game made with love

Every cat, dog, hat, balloon and faraway landmark in Catchmemeow is drawn by hand in code, which is why the worlds can be built fresh every single time you play. There are no in-app purchases pestering your kids, no timers, and nothing to lose. The whole idea is a calm, gentle moment a grown-up and a child can share — pointing at the screen together, naming colors and animals, and giggling at the silly hats.

It’s also, quietly, about something bigger. The same drawings that make the game cute are a small nudge toward the real cats and dogs out there waiting for homes.

Meet our pets 🐾

Our four pets — Max, Yogi, Penny and Mika

Max, Yogi, Penny and Mika are the real inspiration behind the game — the gentle, goofy, much-loved cats and dogs who remind us every single day how much joy an animal brings to a home. They say thank you for playing! 💛

Why shelter pets matter to us

For every cuddly critter in the game, there’s a real one in a shelter hoping for a family. If Catchmemeow makes a child smile and nudges even one household toward adopting or fostering a real cat or dog, we’ll consider it a runaway success. That’s why we put together a friendly guide to adopting, fostering and caring for pets — please take a look.

The game is free to play. If you’d like to support the work it celebrates, the best thing you can do is help a real animal: adopt, foster, donate to your local shelter, or simply tell a friend.
