Paris — a world guide

From the Catchmemeow field guide · updated July 2026

Paris is the world where everything looks like it smells of warm bread. The Eiffel Tower stands tall over pastel rooftops, the street lamps glow like little moons on sticks, and grey city doves wheel overhead as if they own the sky. (They do. Ask any Parisian dove.) Down below, a happy crowd of critters mills about the boulevard, and somewhere in the middle of all that oui-oui is the one special critter we're looking for.

Keep an eye out for the local color while you search: a silent mime kitty performing on the corner for nobody in particular, and a hound trotting past with a whole baguette he has no intention of sharing. This being Catchmemeow, there's no way to lose and nothing to rush — just a friendly crowd, one face hiding in it, and a whole city of whiskers to point at until the right one turns up.

One more thing…

Real cats will happily sit inside a square of tape on the floor — a box that isn't there at all. Which means the Purr-is Mime isn't really performing. She's just being a cat, très professionally.
