Way out where the sky gets big and warm, the Alamo keeps watch over the friendliest little stretch of the West. A windmill turns slow circles, saguaro cacti stand with their arms up like they’re asking a question, and tumbleweeds drift through town with nowhere in particular to be. Sheriff Pawnoco keeps the peace here — which is easy work, since the rowdiest thing in these parts is a tumbleweed picking up speed.

Down in the dust, a whole crowd of cheerful critters has come to town, and yours is the oldest job in the West: find the one on your poster. There’s no way to lose and nothing to rush — just a town full of friendly faces and one that matches. Calamity Paws is quickest in the West and Dilla the Armadillo trundles past at his own speed, so the pace out here runs from lightning to lazy. Mosey through as many rounds as you like; progress stays saved right on your device, no account required.

What to look for in Texas

Seven treasures are tucked into this town, each one a tap away. Sheriff Pawnoco is the friendly gimme — he bobs right out in the open, so even the littlest deputies can collar him. The rest are rare, which means they’ve learned to blend into the crowd like locals. (The roaming regulars, Cameow Sandiego and her crew, sometimes pass through town too.)

Tips for grown-ups

One more thing…

By our count, this one dusty town has a sheriff, a deputy, and a masked ranger — three whole lawmen for a place where the biggest troublemaker is a runaway tumbleweed. No wonder the peace stays so thoroughly kept.
