Viking Dog — free printable coloring page
A viking dog in the Arctic is our kind of history lesson. Coloring it is a study in cool colors — icy blues, pale grays, deep-water navy — with one trick worth passing along: if you add snow around it, leave the snow white. Uncolored paper makes the best snow there is, and it makes every other color on the page look twice as bright.
The helmet can go classic iron gray, or bronze, or whatever a very confident dog would choose for itself. Vikings, as far as we know, had no rules about dogs.
